HANDLING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

This course provides comprehensive training on handling hazardous materials. It is designed for personnel who work with or around hazardous materials in the workplace. The program covers the classification of hazardous materials, safe handling procedures, personal protective equipment, and emergency response. Participants will learn how to handle hazardous materials safely and respond to spills and exposures. The program is aligned with IMDG Code, SOLAS Chapter VII, MARPOL Annex III, ISM Code, ISPS Code and COSWP, and their application to handling hazardous materials is examined throughout. The program equips participants to classify hazardous materials, handle hazardous materials safely, use personal protective equipment, respond to spills and exposures and comply with hazardous materials regulations. It prepares personnel working with hazardous materials to handle hazardous materials safely.
