CROWD MANAGEMENT AND EVENT SECURITY

This course provides comprehensive training on crowd management and event security. It is designed for security personnel, event managers, and law enforcement officers responsible for managing crowds at events. The program covers crowd dynamics, risk assessment, crowd control techniques, and emergency response. Participants will learn how to plan for crowd events, manage crowd flows, and respond to emergencies. Reference is made throughout to ISPS Code, SOLAS, ISM Code, STCW, IMO guidelines on crowd management and MLC 2006, together with their practical application to crowd management and event security. Participants will practise how to understand crowd dynamics and behavior, conduct risk assessments for crowd events, develop crowd management plans, implement crowd control techniques and respond to emergencies at crowd events. It prepares security personnel, event managers, and law enforcement officers to manage crowds and ensure event security.
