WASTE MANAGEMENT AND POLLUTION CONTROL

This course provides comprehensive training on waste management and pollution control. It is designed for environmental managers, HSE professionals, and operations staff responsible for waste management and pollution control. The program covers waste classification, disposal methods, pollution prevention, and regulatory compliance. Participants will learn how to manage waste and control pollution effectively. Reference is made throughout to MARPOL, London Convention, Hong Kong Convention, BWM Convention, AFS Convention and OPRC Convention, together with their practical application to waste management and pollution control. Participants will practise how to classify waste, implement waste disposal methods, prevent pollution, ensure regulatory compliance and monitor environmental performance. It prepares environmental managers, HSE professionals, and operations staff to manage waste and control pollution.
